Getting Started
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Remember that when using the network version of Right Hand Man,
you must first load RHM into memory as the global user so as to
define the network users who will be using Right Hand Man II. This
is done by typing RHM GLOBAL from within the RHM directory.
Once RHM II is resident, the hot-key for RHM II is CTRL-LEFT_SHIFT.
This will bring the Right Hand Man main menu to the screen.
NOTE: Right Hand Man will automatically read the Novell bindery during
installation, so the following steps may not be needed for those
who allowed RHM II to do so.
To add users to Right Hand Man II, select the USER/GROUP MAINTENANCE
module from the UTILITIES submenu.
1) Select TYPE_USER from the pulldown menu.
You will see an empty list of defined users
2) Select FILE_NEW or simply press the <INS> key.
You will be in a dialog box that prompts you for the username,
description, and data directories for the defined user.
3) Fill in the appropriate information in the dialog box.
4) Repeat steps 1 through 3 until all users are defined.
If your RHM II software is a trial version, you will be able to
define up to 25 users.
Once the users have been defined in RHM, the individual users
on the network will load RHM by typing
RHM username
in which 'username' was defined in RHM's USER/GROUP MAINTENANCE module.
Loading RHM as the global user and then using the F6 key to
change to another user does not equate to loading RHM into memory as
a specific user. Loading RHM as a specific user will establish a
NETBIOS/IPX connection that RHM needs to provide for instant
notification of E-Mails and Phone Messages, as well as for the
real-time CHAT module.

Viewing Graphic File Attachments
---------------------------------------------------------------------
Right Hand Man's fax viewing capability will also allow you to
view black and white PCX and DCX files.
In case you don't have any such files, we provide one on the
installation diskette. To conserve disk space, the file is in a
self-extracting file called FAXVIEW.EXE. Simply run this program in
any directory and it will deliver a file called WFALL.FAX. This file
was created by ALCOM's LANFax gateway software.
Now enter the email module and include WFALL.FAX in your email
as a file attachment. Send the email to any user on the network.
The recipient of the email should select FILE_ATTACHMENT_VIEW from
the pulldown window and Right Hand Man will display the fax !
For more information on how you can implement Right Hand Man II
as your fax sending and viewing solution, contact your authorized
Right Hand Man dealer or call 1-800-327-8296.

REMOTE EMAIL LIST
---------------------------------------------------------------------
To learn about how to send to remote sites using RHM II, please
view the file RHM.REM that is located in the RHM root directory. This
file is a script file that RHM II reads when sending to remote sites.
This file also offers some default gateway parameters as well as
FUTURUS' fax number using the ALCOM LANFax gateway.
